Two Union Square's lobby ceiling is a completely custom creation that combines computational design, high-tech fabrication techniques, and expert craftsmanship. Manufactured by Rulon International in St. Augustine, Florida, the ceiling comprises 2,833 unique planks varying from 3 to 12 feet in length. Seattle craftsmen assembled these planks using a tongue-and-groove system to create suspended beams spanning 30 to 140 feet across the lobby.
